Position: Landscape Architect and Master Gardener
Looking for a landscape architect or master gardener with extraordinary knowledge of landscape plants for Southern California and expertise in planting design. Candidate should have extensive knowledge of soil chemistry, soil biology, plant pathology, disease/pest control, the cultural requirements of plants, and familiarity with landscape industry practices. Position: Parks Division Manager
The recruitment will be open to the public for a minimum of five business days and will remain open until the needs of the County are met. This recruitment is being held to establish an Open Eligible List to fill a vacancy with OC Community Resources - OC Parks.
The North Regional Parks Division Manager is one of three Regional Parks Division Managers reporting to the Deputy Director. The Manager supervises ninety-one full-time, including five direct reports and oversees a $15 million budget. The incumbent will provide leadership to working groups of County staff, consultants and contractors servicing the North Division Parks. The Manager will be expected to demonstrate initiative, creativity, resourcefulness to accomplish objectives and Key Performance Indicators of OC Parks.
The North Regional Parks Division is comprised of nine regional parks, two nature preserves and three beaches managed through four Supervising Park Rangers and one Senior Maintenance Coordinator servicing the Division. The Manger will have responsibility for 1,863 acreages of parkland.

The City of Anaheim Planning Department is seeking a Part Time Associate Planner to provide responsible professional level services in the area of advanced planning; and to provide assistance to higher level professional and management staff. Position: Territory Manager – Southwest

Position Available: Director of Facilities and Planning - City of Anaheim
- Combination equivalent to: Bachelor’s Degree supplemented by course work in Business Administration, Planning, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and five years of responsible management experience including State School Building Program management, project management, planning and government experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration is desirable.
- Valid class C California driver’s license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District’s Vehicle Insurance Policy.
- Assist in the preparation of District enrollment projections; assist in the development of student housing plans based upon enrollment projections.
- Direct the District facility planning efforts for building new schools and modernizing existing schools.
- Monitor progress of architects and planning consultants on all projects; manage contracts of architects and planning consultants.
- Coordinate review and preparation of the District’s Facility Master Plan annually or as directed.
- Oversee construction projects related to planning design, construction, occupancy, and closeout; manage construction team, including program managers, inspectors, and other consultants.
- Mange the selection of architects, contractors, program managers, inspectors, and other consultants.\
- Manage and coordinate changes in school attendance boundaries.
- Analyze and pursue various capital facilities funding sources, including local sources, federal funding opportunities, and energy rebates.
- Ability to make presentations to a wide variety of audiences, including the Board of Education, Citizens Oversight Committee, and other community groups.
